1. Complete Milton High School Registration through Planeths.com by October 12 (see below) planeths.com This includes ALL the forms needed for approval i.e. physical, etc.
2. Complete Swim-Dive Registration HERE by October 12
3. Provide Coach McAlister in 5310 proof of state cuts (if you have one) by October 12.
4, Attend tryouts on October 21st at SWAT Roswell at 6:00 pm as a swimmer or volunteer (if you have a state cut).
5. Check the website and social media on the morning of October 22 for the final team roster.
6. Parents MUST attend meeting on October 22nd at the cafeteria at 7:00 pm to get further information and make payments to the school and the team.
PLANET HIGH SCHOOL: Anyone that wants to tryout for the Milton Swim and Dive team, MUST have all their information filled out and approved on planet high school by OCT 12. There are no exceptions! The website is www.planeths.com and there is information below on how to create an account.
TRYOUTS: We will hold tryouts at Swim Atlanta Roswell on October 21st at 6 pm. We ask that parents are NOT in attendance for tryouts. Swimmers will receive more information about the expectations at our student meeting.

REGISTRATION: Registration with parents will take place on October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Milton High School in the cafeteria. This is MANDATORY if your child make’s the team. You will be completing final registration information and submitting payment on that day.

STUDENT MEETING: There is a mandatory meeting for anybody interested in swim and dive this Wednesday, August 29th from 7:30 – 8:00 am. At this meeting athletes will receive information about lettering, swim meet schedule, and a checklist of items to complete in order to be eligible for tryouts on October 21st.
SWIMMING PRACTICE TIMES: If your child is a year round swimmer, they will continue to practice with their club team. They are NOT required to attend any of the non-year round practices. Non-year round swimmers will be practicing at Swim Atlanta Roswell. The practice times are Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 am, as well as Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15 – 5:30 pm.
DIVING PRACTICE TIMES: All divers need to join Atlanta Diving in order to practice. There is a monthly fee to participate with Atlanta Diving. They run a High School specific group, and you can register to practice either once or twice a week with the program. They have two locations: Cumming, and Marist. Planet HS process:
1 -Go to www.planeths.com . Click on the green sign up button (top right corner)
2- Under account type - select student (you must set up your student's account first and then you'll link yours. Put your student's email address and cell phone (don't use yours as it trips up the system when you try to link up)! Then fill out the rest of the info on your athlete. You will need the last 4 digits of their student id number, so be prepared for that as well. Wait for the drop down when you start typing in Milton High School and select it. Click sign up.
3- It will give you the option to type in either an email or cell number for the parent linking to the account. I did my cell # and got a parent/guardian account link request sent to me via text. I clicked on the link and it takes me to planeths.com so I can create an account.
4- Once both accounts are created, you can start submitting paper work. First of all - you select all the sports your athlete plans (dreams) of participating in while at Milton.
5 - Then you just go down the list of forms and fill out the information. There are a few things that you must upload - the physical examination form, the clearance form, the transportation form and a photo of the front and back of your insurance card. You can do this by scanning or taking a picture with your phone and uploading it.
6- Once you've completed a form, click the sign and submit button and if you've done it all correctly, it will take you to the next form and through all the forms needed. Then after you have completed all the forms, you have to have your student sign in with their account and password and "sign"/"initial" the necessary documents.
7- Once a form has been filled out and signed by both you and your athlete, it will be marked Pending Staff Approval in RED. Once it's been approved by one of the trainers, that will change to a GREEN complete! This process does take some time initially but if you have all your documents ready and scanned it shouldn’t take more than 10 to 15 minutes.
